About YOZONETECH Teflon spraying process

1. Dispersion coating: The processing method of dispersion coating is wet processing in which the coating material is evenly distributed in a solvent to form a dispersion (solid matter is mixed in a liquid). The mixture is atomized with high-pressure air and sprayed on the surface of the workpiece.

2. Processing steps

The processing steps of dispersion coating are divided into the following steps: workpiece preparation, spraying (wet) dispersion coating, drying, sintering

3. Parts preparation

In order to obtain sufficient surface adhesion on the surface of the workpiece, all the grease on the surface must be removed first. We use organic solvents to dissolve the grease and then heat it to about 400 degrees to completely volatilize. Next, clean the workpiece with a sandblasting machine to make its surface rough. The ability of the coating to bond to the surface of the workpiece can be improved by applying an adhesive (primer).

(Wet method) dispersion spraying

The spray material must be uniform. The coating thickness depends on the coating system used;

4. Dry

Heat the wet paint in the oven and keep the temperature below 100 degrees until most of the solvent evaporates.

5. Sintering

The sintering step is to heat the workpiece to a higher temperature until an irreversible reaction occurs: the coating material is melted by the binder to form a network structure.

6. Powder Coating

Overview

The powder spraying process is a drying process in which the coating material used is in the form of extremely fine solid particles. This coating method avoids the use of solvents and dispersion that occurs during subsequent coating.

7. Treatment

The micro-powder coating particles are attached to the workpiece by a suitable method. The coating powder melts in the oven.
