Teflon Lined Valves
Product Overview
Diaphragm ball butterfly and check valve options for corrosive media
Yozonetech supplies fluoropolymer-lined valve configurations for process equipment where chemical compatibility and valve function must be matched to the medium. Options include lined diaphragm, ball, butterfly and check valves, with construction-specific liners, seats and actuation.

Lined Diaphragm Valves
The diaphragm construction eliminates a packing-box arrangement and separates the process medium from the driving components. The body cavity is lined with PFA or FEP. An elastic PTFE diaphragm serves as the sealing element, supporting sealing with a relatively small closing force.
A smooth flow path and low flow resistance support flow capacity. The assembly comprises the body, bonnet or cover, valve disc, stem, diaphragm and driving parts. Confirm liner continuity, diaphragm compatibility and the complete shutoff and actuation specification for the selected valve.
Lined Ball Valves FLBV
The listed ball-valve reference uses a PFA or FEP body lining at least 3 mm thick. A wedge-groove locking arrangement supports the lining structure. The body flange seal is designed for thermal-cycling duty, and a labyrinth seal increases the sealing contact area. Cup-and-cone body geometry supports positioning of the mating parts.
The full-bore ball provides a flow path corresponding to the pipe diameter. A reinforced PTFE seat supports the ball and sealing contact. Confirm the actual flow coefficient, liner thickness, temperature and pressure limits and required leakage class for the ordered valve.
Technical Construction Summary
| Valve family | Lining and sealing details |
| Diaphragm valve | PFA or FEP body lining; elastic PTFE diaphragm; no packing box |
| Ball valve FLBV | PFA or FEP lining at least 3 mm; reinforced PTFE seat; full bore |
| Butterfly valve | PTFE / FEP / PFA lining options; disc lining and seat construction by design |
| Check valve FLCV | Listed linings FEP, PFA and GXPO; valve disc and PTFE seat reference |
Lined Butterfly Valves
The described butterfly-valve body can be combined with handle or worm-gear actuation. Full-lined and semi-lined constructions are distinguished by the extent of lining. Corrosion-resistant PTFE, FEP or PFA can be used inside the body and on the disc, according to the selected design.
The described sealing construction includes a silicone-rubber elastic backing at the valve-seat base, helping the disc and body lining achieve sealing contact. Confirm the backing material and whether it contacts the fluid. The catalog heading uses FLBB and calls the product a ball valve, while its description and images identify butterfly valves; specify the actual valve type and drawing rather than relying on the heading alone.
Lined Check Valves FLCV
The check-valve reference permits one-way flow and prevents reverse flow through automatic operation. Forward pressure opens the valve. Reverse pressure and the weight of the disc press the disc against the PTFE seat to close the path.
Listed connection forms are flanged and clamped. Lining options are FEP, PFA and GXPO as stated. Confirm the exact GXPO material identification, pressure rating, opening behavior, orientation and connection standard for the selected construction.
Pressure and Temperature Reference Curve

The original curve is retained with pressure in bar, temperature in °C and a vacuum annotation of 0.1 mbar. Black identifies PFA, green PTFE and red FEP. The axes include temperature labels -30, -20, 0, 50, 100, 150, 180 and 210°C and a 0-16 bar scale. Pressure capacity decreases as temperature rises; the curve alone does not define every valve configuration or size.
Confirm the selected valve’s pressure-temperature rating and vacuum capability against its construction and documentation. No DN size list or per-model dimensional table is supplied on this valve-family page.
Applications and Valve Selection
Review lined valves for chemical and corrosive-media transfer, isolation, directional flow and backflow prevention. Define the medium, concentration, solids content, normal and maximum temperature, working pressure or vacuum and required shutoff performance.
Specify the valve family, nominal connection size, flange or clamp standard, liner, seat and diaphragm materials, actuation, installation orientation and quantity. Include thermal cycling, vibration, required flow coefficient and any inspection or traceability requirements.
Inspection Requirements
Agree liner thickness and continuity checks, material identification, dimensional inspection, pressure and shutoff tests, actuation checks and any documentation. Claims about sealing, thermal cycling or low resistance must be tied to the selected valve and required acceptance criteria.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which lining materials are listed
PFA and FEP are listed for diaphragm and ball-valve references. PTFE, FEP and PFA appear in the butterfly description, while the check-valve reference lists FEP, PFA and GXPO.
Is the 3 mm minimum lining thickness universal
The at-least-3 mm statement belongs to the FLBV ball-valve description. Confirm thickness separately for other families and the ordered size.
Can the reference curve be used for every valve
No. Request the exact pressure-temperature and vacuum specification for the selected valve size, liner, seat and assembly.
Does FLBB identify a ball or butterfly valve
The catalog heading and body text differ. The described full-lined and semi-lined product is a butterfly valve. Confirm valve type, model and drawing when ordering.
