The 1800 × 1200 and 2000 × 1000 entries each appear twice in the reference size list; no distinct material grade is assigned to the duplicate entries.

Materials and Manufacturing

Molded PTFE plate is produced from suspension-polymerized PTFE resin by molding, sintering and cooling. The product family includes pure PTFE plate and filled or modified variants. Skived products are listed separately in roll, strip and sheet forms.

Listed variants include colored plate, copper-powder-filled plate, glass-fiber-filled plate, graphite-filled plate, carbon-fiber-filled plate, black plate, carbon-powder-filled plate, polystyrene-modified plate and antistatic plate. Specify the formulation and required properties; color alone does not identify the filler or electrical behavior.

Material Features

PTFE combines temperature resistance and chemical stability with weathering and aging resistance. Its nonstick surface and low-friction behavior support release and sliding applications, while its machinability allows sheets and plates to be converted into equipment parts.

Electrical properties depend on the selected formulation. When wear resistance or compressive strength is a priority, request a suitable filled grade and define the relevant acceptance requirements. Antistatic or conductive variants require their own electrical specification.

Typical components include gaskets, electrical insulation and machined mechanical parts. Select the grade and finished design for the actual loads and environment.

Customization and Inspection

Specify length, width, thickness, tolerances, flatness and surface finish. For surface-treated sheet, identify the treated face or faces and the intended bonding process. Agree material identification, dimensional inspection and any mechanical or electrical tests required for the order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which thickness range applies to molded plate

Listed sizes from 300 × 300 to 1200 × 1200 mm have a 2-100 mm thickness range. The listed larger formats have a 2-50 mm range. Use the individual table row when ordering.

Can I order PTFE in rolls or strips

The continuous skived roll and strip reference covers widths of 10-2700 mm and thicknesses of 0.02-10 mm. Specify the required length for confirmation.

Does every grade have the same technical properties

No. Fillers and modifications change performance. Agree the selected formulation and required test values; the size list does not provide a universal temperature, pressure or strength rating.
