Product Detail

Product Overview

Flexible PTFE connections for fluid transfer and equipment movement

Yozonetech supplies PTFE corrugated tubing for routed fluid connections and equipment assemblies. The corrugated wall provides flexibility where a rigid tube would be difficult to install. Annular corrugations form individual rings around the tube; specify the required profile and end geometry on your drawing.

Select the straight-end size, minimum corrugated bore and finished length together with the operating conditions. The reference size table below retains 14 configurations from the existing corrugated-tubing range; PTFE availability and the required annular profile are confirmed with the quotation.

PTFE Corrugated Annular Tubing

Corrugated tube reference image; finished appearance depends on material and wall geometry

Product Benefits

Flexible routing around equipment

The corrugated profile helps accommodate installation offsets and changes in direction. Agree the minimum bend radius, routing and support for the selected tube size.

Chemical resistance at the fluid contact surface

PTFE provides a chemically resistant fluid-contact material for many industrial media. Check the exact chemical, concentration and temperature, including the fittings and seals.

Annular profiles for defined flexible sections

Ring-shaped corrugations can be specified with straight connection ends. Define pitch, corrugation depth, active length and the minimum internal clearance needed by the assembly.

Construction matched to movement and service

Tube geometry can be reviewed for thermal movement and vibration accommodation. Provide displacement, direction, cycle rate and required service life when repeated movement is involved.

Corrugated Tube Reference Sizes

All dimensions are in mm. Inch labels are size designations. The table retains the original corrugated-range data: it does not establish that every size is available in PTFE or in every annular profile. Confirm material, geometry and tolerances with the production drawing.

Straight-section ID defines the connection bore. The smaller corrugated-section ID can control internal clearance. Do not size flow or mating components from the straight-end dimensions alone.

Typical Applications

Chemical and reagent transfer

Flexible links in process and reagent equipment where PTFE compatibility and the tube assembly meet the fluid-service requirements.

Equipment connections and vibration accommodation

Connections between components with installation offsets, thermal movement or vibration. Define routing, supports and movement duty before selecting the tube.

Semiconductor electronics and cooling equipment

Equipment connections where chemical compatibility, flexible routing and dimensional control matter. Specify cleanliness, fluid and documentation requirements for the application.

Heat exchange and thermal equipment

Flexible sections for thermal equipment may be reviewed against the actual medium, temperature and pressure. Steam service requires confirmation for the complete assembly.

Custom Production and Inspection

Provide the PTFE grade, straight-end ID and OD, minimum corrugated bore, maximum corrugated OD, pitch, wall, overall length, active length and end configuration. Add dimensional tolerances, quantity, surface and packaging requirements.

Agree dimensional inspection, surface checks and any required leak, pressure, vacuum or movement testing before production. For repeated orders, use an approved drawing revision and defined acceptance criteria.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is annular corrugated tubing a different material

No. Annular describes the ring-shaped corrugation profile. PTFE identifies the material. State both the material and profile so the finished tube matches the required construction.

Is the inside of this tube smooth

Conventional corrugated tubing has an internal profile that follows the corrugations. For a smooth fluid bore with external corrugations, specify the separate smoothbore externally convoluted PTFE construction.

Can I use the FEP or PFA annular size table for PTFE

Use a confirmed PTFE drawing. Material and processing differences mean the FEP/PFA dimensions, lengths and connector options cannot automatically be treated as PTFE specifications.

Can the tube be used under vacuum or repeated bending

Suitability depends on the wall, profile, diameter, temperature and support. Provide the vacuum level or movement duty so the selected construction and tests can be reviewed.
