Tubing Hoses and Polymer Components for Pharmaceutical Equipment

octubre 30, 2026

Yozonetech supplies tubing, flexible connections, seals and custom polymer components for pharmaceutical equipment, laboratory systems and selected medical device manufacturing processes. Our product range includes fluoropolymer transfer lines, silicone tubing, reinforced hoses, engineering plastics and cable protection materials.

For pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing applications, material selection involves more than chemical resistance. Buyers need to consider the process medium, fluid-contact conditions, cleaning procedures, operating parameters and required product documentation. Yozonetech helps customers evaluate these factors when selecting materials and specifying customized components for equipment manufacturing and process systems.

Process Transfer and Precision Dispensing

Tubing used in pharmaceutical equipment and laboratory systems must be selected according to the fluid being transferred, operating conditions and required contact characteristics.

Tubo PFA, Tubo FEP y PTFE smoothbore tubing provide options for compatible process fluids and chemical exposure. Their application suitability depends on the exact material grade, fluid composition, temperature, pressure and contact duration.

For dispensing equipment and suitable pump applications, platinum-cured silicone tubing offers a flexible tubing option. Where specified biological testing is required, USP Class VI silicone tubing can be considered, subject to verification of the applicable test documentation and product specification.

For analytical instruments and precision fluid connections, PTFE capillary tubing y Tubo PEEK provide additional material options.

Before ordering, confirm the required dimensions, material grade, cleanliness level, extractables requirements and intended contact conditions.

Flexible Hose Assemblies and Cleaning Requirements

Pharmaceutical production equipment may require flexible connections for fluid transfer, equipment movement, pump connections or maintenance access. Different hose constructions offer different combinations of flexibility, pressure capability and installation characteristics.

Stainless steel braided PTFE hose, silicone reinforced tubing y PTFE convoluted inner smoothbore tube can be evaluated for different flexible connection requirements. PTFE annular convoluted tubing may also suit installations where its corrugated geometry meets the equipment design requirements.

When specifying a flexible assembly, consider more than the tubing material. Drainage, connection design, pressure, vacuum, bending requirements and cleaning access can all affect performance in service.

Repeated steam exposure, chemical cleaning or irradiation requires evaluation of the complete assembly, including the tubing, reinforcement, fittings and connection interfaces. The compatibility of the base polymer alone does not establish that a finished assembly is suitable for a particular cleaning or sterilization cycle. Cycle conditions and expected service life should be included in the specification.

Flow Control Components and Process Seals

Valves, connectors and sealing components help maintain reliable connections across process equipment and fluid handling systems. Their selection should account for the process medium, operating conditions, joint design and cleaning requirements.

For compatible fluid systems, PFA valves y PFA connectors provide fluoropolymer options for flow control and connections.

Sealing choices include FEP and PFA encapsulated O-rings, silicone molded seals, expanded PTFE gaskets and selected FFKM O-rings. FKM seals may also be considered when the compound is compatible with the process medium and cleaning conditions.

Important selection factors include particle generation, extractables, compression behavior, chemical exposure and the geometry of the actual sealing interface.

A USP Class VI test result should not be interpreted as proof of sterility, universal drug compatibility or suitability for implantation. Buyers should review the exact test scope and product documentation against the intended application.

Engineering Plastic Parts for Equipment and Medical Device Manufacturing

Pharmaceutical equipment and medical device manufacturing processes may use polymer components in fixtures, guides, insulation parts, instrument assemblies and production tooling.

PEEK components, specialty engineering plastics including PES, PVDF, PI, TPI and PBI y precision PTFE machined parts offer material options for components requiring specific dimensional, mechanical or chemical properties.

For equipment fabrication and processing applications, PTFE sheets y fluoropolymer films can be used in suitable release, separation and protective applications.

Some materials are also used as manufacturing aids during medical device production. Etched PTFE tubing has a treated surface designed to support bonding where specified. Peelable FEP heat shrink tubing can serve as a removable processing aid in suitable manufacturing operations.

These applications should be distinguished from permanent patient-contact components. The material, processing method, cleanliness requirements and supporting documentation must match the specific device manufacturing specification.

Plant Utilities, Electrical Protection and Sensor Connections

Not every component in a pharmaceutical facility is part of the product-contact system. Plant utilities, equipment wiring, instrument connections and sensor protection have separate material and documentation requirements.

For suitable utility circuits, PA11 and PA12 tubing, PE tubing y clear PVC tubing provide options for compatible air, water and other non-product-contact services.

Equipment wiring and cable protection may involve XLPE insulated electrical cable, PTFE heat shrink tubing, polyolefin heat shrink tubing y protective sleeving and cable accessories.

For selected sensor and connection assemblies, PTFE-FEP dual-wall heat shrink tubing may provide an encapsulation option when its dimensions, temperature limits and installation process are suitable.

Utility-system suitability does not automatically establish acceptability for high-purity product contact or validated pharmaceutical water systems. Product-contact and non-product-contact applications should therefore be identified separately during material selection.

Define Material and Documentation Requirements Before Ordering

A clear specification helps reduce material selection errors and makes repeat orders easier to manage. Before requesting a quotation, buyers should provide the following information where applicable:

EspecificaciónInformation to Confirm
