Connection Design
The compression-type connection combines a fitting body, locking nut and open clamping ring. Insert the tube into the fitting and tighten the nut to retain the tube and form the connection. Specify the mating tube dimensions, connection design and service conditions together.
This connection approach can be reviewed for equipment requiring disassembly or exposure to pressure and vibration. Sealing and retention performance must be confirmed for the exact fitting, tube and installation; the catalog does not assign a universal numerical pressure rating.

Fitting Types and Supply
Common flow-path configurations are straight, elbow, tee and four-way. Additional machined styles include flared connections, hose barbs, external threads, flange connectors, tube-flaring accessories and other turned parts. Valve-related turned components can also be reviewed; they require their own assembly specification.
These are machined components. Ask for availability of common sizes; nonstandard parts can be reviewed from a minimum order of one piece, with price and feasibility confirmed for the drawing.

Applications and Custom Parts
Use appropriately specified fittings for tubing connections in chemical equipment, laboratory instruments and industrial machinery. Provide the actual medium, concentration, temperature, pressure or vacuum, tube material and dimensions, and the expected disassembly or vibration duty.
For a custom connector, send the drawing, mating tube ID and OD, flow-path arrangement, thread specification or flange details, quantity and tolerances. Agree dimensional checks, surface finish, fitting retention and any assembly leak test.
