Thermal performance

The PFA reference heat-resistance value is 260°C. Confirm the permitted temperature of the finished component or joint together with mechanical load and the full assembly.

Chemical stability

PFA provides chemical and corrosion resistance, including resistance to alkalis and sulfuric acid in the reference description. Define concentration, temperature and exposure time for the selected application.

Mechanical and electrical properties

The reference identifies mechanical performance, insulation, lubricity and resistance to bending and cracking. Required properties and test methods must be agreed for the supplied grade and finished part.

Low absorption and surface behavior

The material offers low water absorption and a nonstick surface, together with aging and UV resistance. Confirm any numerical absorption or weathering acceptance limit for the selected grade.

Complete Physical and Mechanical Data

These are material reference values, not guaranteed limits for every finished rod, welding joint or production lot. Confirm specimen condition, test methods and order acceptance criteria. kV/mm describes dielectric breakdown strength rather than an absolute voltage rating.

The flat-strip row is identified by its Chinese description and width × thickness values. The source English row labels it a round welding rod. The 20 m and 100 m entries are welding-rod supply lengths, rather than millimeter values implied by the general table heading.

PFA Rod Applications

Rod stock can be reviewed for corrosion-resistant parts, seals, vibration-reduction parts, insulation components, anti-adhesion parts, transparent parts and capacitor-related insulation.
